Test your GK one topic at a time

A GK quiz tells you quickly what you have really learnt. The quizzes here are grouped by subject, and each GK topic note has its own quiz, so after reading a topic you can test it straight away while it is fresh. Each subject also has mixed sets that draw questions from across its topics, which feels much closer to a real exam paper.

Every quiz runs with a timer and shows your result as soon as you submit. Each question comes with the correct answer and an explanation, so a wrong answer is never wasted. You can play any quiz without logging in. If you log in, your quiz history and progress are saved, and you can see which topics you have already practised.

A simple routine works well. Take the topic quiz right after reading the note, take it again a week later, and use the subject’s mixed set before your exam to check the whole subject in one go. When you finish a subject, move on to its previous-year questions (PYQs) to see how exams have actually asked it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the GK quiz work?

Choose a subject, then a topic quiz or a mixed set. Each quiz has a timer, and when you submit you see your result at once, with the correct answer and an explanation for every question. Read the explanations for the ones you missed before moving on.

Is the GK quiz free, and do I need to log in?

It is free, and anyone can play without logging in. Logging in is optional. It saves your quiz history and progress, so you can see which topics and subjects you have already practised and pick up where you left off.

What is the difference between a topic quiz and a mixed set?

A topic quiz tests one GK topic note, so it is best taken right after reading that note. A subject-wise mixed set draws questions from many topics of the subject, which makes it useful for revision once you have finished several topics.

Can I take the GK quiz in Hindi?

Yes. The GK quizzes are available in English and Hindi, with answers and explanations, so you can practise in the same language you will use in your exam.

Are new GK quizzes added?

Yes. New GK topics are added regularly, and each new topic note comes with its own quiz, so the list keeps growing. Check the subject you are studying from time to time for newly added topics and their quizzes.
