Editorial Policy

This policy describes how content on GK24 is produced. Our aim is simple: every fact a candidate reads here should be traceable to a reliable source and checked by a person before it is published.

Sourcing

Current affairs articles are based on primary sources wherever they exist: Press Information Bureau releases, official notifications and gazettes, ministry and regulator websites (RBI, SEBI, ISRO, Election Commission and others), court judgments, and reports from international bodies. Reputable national newspapers and news agencies are used for confirmation and context. The sources used are listed at the end of each article.

Writing and verification

  • Articles are written by our editorial desk; the author is named on the page.
  • A second editor reviews names, dates, figures and spellings against the sources before publication and is credited as the reviewer.
  • Questions and quizzes are checked for a single correct answer, and every answer carries an explanation.
  • Content that fails these checks stays unpublished until it passes.

Use of AI and other tools

We may use software, including AI tools, to help draft, summarise, structure or translate content and to suggest practice questions. Such drafts are treated as raw material: a human editor verifies every published statement against its sources, and a reviewer approves it. We do not publish AI output without this review.

Dates and updates

Every article shows its published date and, when the substance changes, an updated date. Cosmetic edits such as typo fixes do not change the updated date. Monthly and yearly pages are revised as new events are added.

Independence and advertising

GK24 has no relationship with any exam-conducting body or coaching institute, and editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers. Advertisements are clearly labelled. Any sponsored content, if ever published, will be marked as such.
