RBI Current Affairs 2026
Current affairs carry more weight in RBI exams than in most bank exams. General Awareness is the largest test in Grade B Phase-I, with 80 of the 200 marks, and the Assistant Main has a Test of General Awareness of 40 questions. Neither advertisement prints a syllabus for it, so the news of the months before the exam decides much of the paper. In Phase-II, Economic and Social Issues asks about the Economic Survey, the Union Budget, monetary and fiscal policy, poverty, employment and international economic issues, and General Finance and Management asks about digital payments, financial inclusion and inflation. All of these move with the news. In our reading of the pattern, which is guidance and not an official syllabus, the items most worth tracking are RBI monetary policy decisions and regulations, government schemes and their ministries, reports and indices, appointments, summits and international institutions. This page carries GK24's daily current affairs for RBI exams, in English and Hindi, written from official releases and dated to the day each item was announced. Read it every day, keep a separate note on RBI and economy items for ESI, and revise each month at its end. Then test yourself with the quizzes on this site.
