Uttar Pradesh Current Affairs 2026

Current affairs carries direct marks in both Uttar Pradesh exams. The PCS 2025 advertisement puts current events of national and international importance first in the syllabus of Prelims General Studies-I, lists current affairs of regional, national and international importance in Mains General Studies-II, and adds the current affairs of UP to General Studies-V. UPSSSC's PET 2026 gives 10 of its 100 marks to Current Affairs, Indian and global, and another 10 to General Awareness, which covers awards, sports, days, books and world organisations. Questions usually tie a recent event to a fixed fact: the ministry behind a scheme, the state of a new national park, the headquarters of an organisation, or the article under which a body works. Read it daily, revise each month at its end, and cover at least the 12 months before your exam date.
