MY Bharat Crosses 3 Crore Registered Youth in Under Three Years

Mera Yuva Bharat, known by its short name MY Bharat, has gone past 3 crore registered youth. The platform belongs to the Department of Youth Affairs in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the milestone was announced on 23 September 2026, under three years after the portal opened.

How the platform grew

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched MY Bharat on 31 October 2023 as a technology-driven meeting point where young Indians could take part in the country's development work. Registrations crossed 2 crore in October 2025. By August 2026 the figure stood above 2.46 crore, and the 3 crore mark followed in the next stage of expansion. The platform is described as the largest youth engagement ecosystem in the country.

What a registered young person gets

• Experiential Learning Programmes: by August 2026 more than 1.22 lakh youth had enrolled in nearly 25,000 such programmes.
• Volunteering openings, quizzes, youth dialogues and community work.
• An AI-enabled CV Builder that helps a young user put together a professional profile.

Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2027

The biggest activity running on the platform is the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027. It opened with the Viksit Bharat Quiz on 17 August 2026, which stays open until 30 September 2026. Under the Viksit Bharat Challenge a participant moves up through an Essay Challenge, District Championships and State or Union Territory rounds, and the winners reach the national dialogue in New Delhi from 10 to 12 January 2027. Five more tracks run alongside: Cultural Track, Design for Bharat, Hack for Social Cause, Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge and Youth Parliament. Selected participants get to place their ideas before policymakers, and at the national level before the Prime Minister.

Other campaigns on MY Bharat

The platform also carries Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat, the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme, Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament, Viksit Bharat Padyatra, Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect and Khelo India Dialogue. The anti-drug campaign began with a Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh in September 2026. All of it is tied to the goal of Viksit Bharat @2047.
