SSC CHSL Current Affairs 2026
Current affairs is a fixed part of General Awareness in SSC CHSL. The CHSL 2026 notice says the section tests knowledge of current events along with everyday science, History, Culture, Geography, the Economic Scene, General Policy and Scientific Research of India and its neighbours. In Tier-I that means roughly 5 to 8 of the 25 General Awareness questions, and in Tier-II a similar share of the 20 questions worth 3 marks each, where a wrong answer costs a full mark. The Commission picks events from the 6 to 12 months before the exam: national awards and honours, sports tournaments and winners, appointments to constitutional and statutory offices, government schemes and the ministries that run them, summits and their venues, reports and indices, books and authors, defence exercises and space missions. The question usually joins the event to a static fact, such as the state of a new tiger reserve or the ministry behind a scheme. This page carries GK24's daily current affairs written for SSC CHSL from official releases, in English and Hindi, with the date each item was announced. Read it every day, revise the month at its end, and pair it with the quizzes on this site to test what stayed in memory before the proposed Tier-I window of 30 November to 31 December 2026.
