NABARD Current Affairs 2026

Current affairs runs through every awareness test NABARD sets. The Grade A advertisement lists Current Economic & Social Issues in the ESI syllabus. It also tells candidates to prepare current developments and Acts in each subject, even when a topic is not named. In Grade A Prelims, General Awareness carries 20 marks, and ESI and ARD carry 40 marks each. In the Development Assistant Main, General Awareness carries 50 marks, with special reference to agriculture, rural development and banking. Recent events matter most where they meet NABARD's own field: the Union Budget and the Economic Survey, RBI's monetary policy, schemes for farmers and rural households, rural employment and livelihood missions, credit to agriculture, climate change meetings and the work of the IMF, the World Bank and the WTO.
