IBPS Current Affairs 2026
Current affairs is the largest part of the awareness test in every IBPS exam. In IBPS PO Mains the test is called General/Economy/Banking Awareness/Digital/Financial Awareness including RBI circulars and carries 50 questions for 60 marks in 35 minutes; in IBPS Clerk Mains, General/Financial Awareness carries 40 questions for 50 marks in 20 minutes; in IBPS RRB Mains, General Awareness carries 40 questions for 40 marks. Unlike SSC, banking exams draw most of these questions from the four to six months before the exam: RBI monetary policy decisions and circulars, appointments of governors, bank heads and regulators, agreements and MoUs signed by banks, government schemes with a finance angle, budget and economic data, reports and indices, awards, summits, sports and important days. This page carries GK24's daily current affairs written from official releases, in English and Hindi, with the date of each item, and it flags the banking, RBI and economy stories a bank exam is likely to ask. Read it every day, keep a monthly revision sheet of rates, appointments and schemes, and test yourself with the quizzes on this site before each Mains.
