UPSC CAPF Current Affairs 2026
Current events carry a named slot in UPSC CAPF. The CAPF (ACs) 2026 notice lists Current Events of National and International Importance as one of the six areas of Paper-I, General Ability and Intelligence, and defines it widely: culture, music, arts, literature, sports, governance, societal and developmental issues, industry, business, globalisation and interplay among nations. Current affairs also feed Paper-II. Its essay part, worth 80 marks, suggests topics from polity and economy, security and human rights, and the 2026 paper set essays on urbanisation, civil society, gender justice, startups, India's defence strategy and India's maritime strategy in the Indian Ocean. A candidate who follows the news with care gains twice: objective questions in the morning session and material for essays, reports and for-and-against answers in the afternoon. This page carries GK24's daily current affairs for UPSC CAPF, written from official releases in English and Hindi, each dated by the day it was announced. Give extra attention to internal security, border management, the armed forces and the CAPFs, human rights bodies, international groupings and India's neighbours, because the syllabus names security and human rights in both papers. Read the page every day, keep a monthly note of the main events, and test yourself with the current-affairs quizzes on this site each week. For the 2027 exam on 4 July 2027, begin with the events of July 2026.
