RRB NTPC Current Affairs 2026

Current affairs is the first topic in the General Awareness syllabus of RRB NTPC, and it carries the most questions of any single topic: General Awareness is 40 of 100 questions in CBT-1 and 50 of 120 in CBT-2 under CEN 06/2025 and 07/2025, and a large share of those questions come from the events of the year before the exam. RRB asks them as one-line facts: who won an award, which state launched a scheme, where a summit was held, which mission ISRO flew, who was appointed to a post, which team won a tournament, and the theme or date of an observance. The questions are not analytical, so what matters is having read the news and revised it. Read the day's stories each morning, mark the ones on sports, awards, appointments, schemes, science and space, and revise a week at a time. Before a CBT, go back through the eight to ten months that precede the exam date, because RRB draws on that window in both stages.
