RRB ALP Current Affairs 2026

Current affairs has an unusual place in RRB ALP. CEN 01/2026, the notice this page follows, lists no General Awareness or current affairs subject in CBT-1 or CBT-2: CBT-1 is Mathematics, Mental Ability and General Science, and CBT-2 Part A is Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Basic Science and Engineering. The previous notice, CEN 01/2025, did include General Awareness in CBT-1, described as current affairs, science and technology, sports, culture, personalities, economics, politics and other subjects of importance. The RRBs have therefore changed this between two consecutive notices, and a candidate should read the CEN of the cycle he or she applies to before deciding how much time to give it. This page carries GK24's daily current affairs written for railway aspirants, in English and Hindi, from official releases, with the date each item was announced. For CEN 01/2026 it is a hedge rather than a scoring section: ten minutes a day keeps you ready if a later notice restores General Awareness, and covers the General Awareness sections of other RRB exams, such as NTPC, that many ALP candidates also write. Items on Indian Railways, new trains, locomotives, safety systems and railway zones are the ones most likely to matter to a future loco pilot, and they are tagged here so they can be read separately.
