CTET Previous Year GK Questions

Previous-year questions show how CTET actually asks. The CTET September 2026 bulletin gives the syllabus, and it also shows how much of the paper is about teaching rather than facts. In Paper I, half of the 30 Environmental Studies questions are on pedagogical issues. In Paper II, 20 of the 60 Social Studies/Social Science questions and 10 of the 30 Science questions are. The content questions follow the NCERT syllabus and usually test a concept a child should understand rather than a bare date or name. This page gathers the previous-year questions GK24 tags for CTET, in English and Hindi, each with the answer, an explanation and its topic, so that a question leads you to the GK note that covers it. GK24's collection focuses on the content side of EVS, Social Studies and Science and grows over time, so treat it as guidance alongside the official material. After each edition, CBSE displays the answer keys on ctet.nic.in and invites challenges, and the result is prepared on the final key; those keys show CTET's own framing. Solve a set untimed first to learn the pattern, then a set timed, and revisit your wrong answers a week later.
