SSC CPO Current Affairs 2026

Current events are a named head of the General Knowledge and General Awareness syllabus in the SSC CPO notice, and under the 2026 scheme they are tested twice: in Part II of Paper-I (25 questions, 25 marks) and in Part II of Paper-II (20 questions, 40 marks), the paper that decides the final merit. SSC usually picks events from the 12 months before the paper: appointments to constitutional and statutory offices, national awards and sports results, new schemes and the ministries behind them, summits and their venues, reports and indices, defence exercises and space missions, and the year's books and days. A question often ties the event to a static fact, such as the state of a new tiger reserve or the article under which a new office works. This page carries GK24's daily current affairs written for SSC CPO from official releases, in English and Hindi, each item dated by the day it was announced. Read it every day, revise the month at its end, and remember that Paper-II comes weeks after Paper-I, so the months between the two papers must be covered as well.
