Railway Current Affairs 2026
Current affairs carries weight in three of the four railway exams on GK24, though not equally. RRB NTPC has the largest share: General Awareness is 40 of 100 questions in CBT-1 and 50 of 120 in CBT-2, and current events head its syllabus. RRB Group D has a section named General Awareness and Current Affairs, 20 of 100 questions, covering science and technology, sports, culture, personalities, economics and politics. RRB JE asks 15 General Awareness questions in each of its two CBTs, with current affairs, sports and scientific developments on the list. RRB ALP is the exception: CEN 01/2026 has no General Awareness section. The questions are short and factual: who won a tournament or an award, which scheme a ministry launched, which mission ISRO flew, who was appointed to which post, and which day is observed with which theme. This page gathers GK24's daily current affairs for railway exams, written in English and Hindi from official releases and dated by the day each item was released. Read it daily and revise each week and each month. Candidates waiting for the next NTPC or Group D notice should start now, because the months before a CBT are the ones it asks about.
