1 topics12 MCQs1 previous-year questions1 quizzesUpdated

Rajasthan GK is the state-specific part of every RPSC and RSSB paper. The course opens with geography: the location and physical divisions of the state, the Aravalli Range and the Thar Desert, rivers and lakes, climate and soils, forests and wildlife, and then agriculture, the Indira Gandhi Canal and other water projects, minerals, energy and handicrafts.

History runs from Kalibangan, Ahar and Bairath through the origin of the Rajputs, Mewar under the Guhils and Sisodias, Marwar under the Rathores and the other princely states, to the peasant and tribal movements, the Praja Mandals and the integration of Rajasthan. Art and culture covers forts and palaces, painting schools, folk music, dances, fairs, folk deities and dialects, and the course ends with the Governor, the Legislature, Panchayati Raj, the economy and the state's schemes.

Each topic is a short note in English and Hindi with practice questions. Read one topic a day in order, take its quiz, and revise the topics you get wrong.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which exams ask Rajasthan GK?

RPSC exams such as RAS, School Lecturer and Senior Teacher, RSSB exams such as Patwari, VDO, LDC and Rajasthan Police Constable, and the common eligibility test all carry a Rajasthan GK section. The weight differs by exam, but no Rajasthan recruitment paper leaves it out.

What should I study first in Rajasthan GK?

Start with geography: the physical divisions, the Aravalli Range, the Thar Desert, rivers and lakes. It is the base for agriculture, irrigation and minerals, and these topics are asked every year. Then move to history, and keep art and culture for daily revision.

Are the notes available in Hindi?

Yes. Every Rajasthan GK note and quiz is written in both English and Hindi, so a Hindi-medium aspirant can read the same topic in Hindi with the same questions and explanations.

How are the topics arranged?

In syllabus order: geography and economy first, then history from the prehistoric sites to the integration of the state, then art and culture, and finally polity, administration and schemes. Each topic page links to the next one, so the course can be followed like a book.

How should I revise Rajasthan art and culture?

Make short lists that pair a place with its feature: a fort and its builder, a fair and its district, a folk dance and its community, a painting school and its subjects. Revise these lists weekly and take each topic quiz again until you get every question right.
