Haryana Previous Year GK Questions

Previous-year questions show what an exam actually asks, which a syllabus alone cannot. For Haryana exams they are useful in two ways. First, the national part of the HSSC CET and of the HPSC HCS General Studies paper draws on the same Indian Polity, History, Geography, Economy and Science that other government exams ask, and many facts repeat across exams with new options. Second, reading past papers shows the level of each exam: the CET for Group C is set at 10+2 level with Hindi and English at Matric level, the Group D CET at Matric level, and the HCS Mains at graduate level. This page collects GK24's previous-year questions, in English and Hindi, each with the correct answer, a short explanation and the topic it belongs to, so a question leads you to the GK note that covers it. GK24's collection covers national GK; HPSC also publishes its previous years' question papers on its website. Solve a set untimed to learn, then a set timed to build speed, and revisit your wrong answers a week later.
