The department credits that push for the jump in identified sites from 315 to 401 and for the pace of work on pendency.

What comes next
The department has said the campaign is expected to gain further momentum in the remaining period, with additional cleanliness sites being identified regularly and the constituent organisations continuing their activities. The progress of the campaign is being monitored closely so that the remaining activities are completed within the stipulated timelines and the campaign's targets are met by the time it concludes at the end of October 2026.
