Teaching Quiz

The quizzes here test the content part of teaching exams that GK24 covers: facts and concepts from geography, history, polity, general science and environment. In CTET, these support Environmental Studies in Paper I and Social Studies/Social Science and Science in Paper II. Every quiz is multiple-choice, in English and Hindi, with the answer and a short explanation after each question. CTET itself has 150 multiple-choice questions of one mark each in 2 hours 30 minutes per paper. The CTET-September 2026 bulletin says there is no negative marking. So in the real paper, never leave a question blank: rule out what you can and mark the most appropriate option. Practise the same habit here. In GK24's guidance, take a topic quiz right after reading its GK note, note the questions you got wrong, and reread only those parts. Track your accuracy by subject. Weak scores in history or polity point to Social Studies content, and weak scores in science or environment point to Environmental Studies and Science. These quizzes do not test Child Development and Pedagogy, subject pedagogy or the two languages. The qualifying mark is 60%, or 90 out of 150, so content marks help but cannot carry a paper alone.
