Uttar Pradesh GK Questions 2026

Static GK is the larger share of General Studies in both exams. The PCS Prelims General Studies-I paper covers the history of India and the national movement, Indian and world geography, polity and governance, economic and social development, environment and general science, with special reference to Uttar Pradesh. The Mains adds four national General Studies papers and two papers on Uttar Pradesh alone. PET 2026 gives 5 marks each to Indian History, the National Movement, Geography, the Economy, the Constitution and Public Administration, and General Science, set at NCERT secondary and senior secondary level. This page holds GK24's topic-wise GK notes, written as short facts and tables in English and Hindi so a topic can be revised in one sitting. The notes cover national GK; GK24 does not yet have a separate Uttar Pradesh GK section. As guidance, use them for the national part of both exams and add UP history, culture, geography, economy and schemes from the state government's own publications for General Studies-V and VI. Read a topic, solve its quiz, then check the previous-year questions to see how it is asked.
