Quizzes turn reading into marks, and the marking rules of Haryana's exams make practice important. In the HSSC CET a wrong answer costs nothing, but a question left without any circle filled costs 1 mark, so a candidate must answer or mark the fifth circle for every one of the 100 questions in 1 hour 45 minutes. In the HCS Preliminary Examination each wrong answer costs 0.25 mark, and a question left with no circle darkened also costs 0.25 mark, so the skill there is to answer what you know and darken E for the rest. The quizzes on this page are objective multiple-choice questions on national GK and current affairs, in English and Hindi, with the answer and a short explanation after each question. Take them timed. Track your accuracy by topic: a weak score in Polity or History tells you which GK notes to reread, and a weak score in current affairs tells you which months to revise.
