Defence Quiz

Quizzes turn reading into marks because every defence exam is an objective test against the clock. The NDA General Ability Test has 150 questions in 2½ hours, and a wrong answer costs about 1.33 marks. The CDS General Knowledge paper has 120 questions in two hours, with one-third of a question's marks deducted for each wrong answer. The Army's Agniveer CEE has 50 questions in one hour, and the Navy's INET deducts one-fourth of a mark for a wrong answer. The quizzes here are GK24's daily, weekly and monthly current-affairs quizzes for the defence exams and topic quizzes on the GK notes, in English and Hindi, with the answer and a short explanation after each question. Take the daily quiz after reading the day's current affairs, the weekly quiz on Sunday and the monthly quiz at each month's end. Keep a note of your accuracy by topic: a weak score in Physics or Chemistry sends you back to the General Science notes, and a weak score in current affairs tells you which months to revise. Practise skipping: in NDA, CDS and the Navy INET, a blank costs nothing and a guess can cost marks. In the last two months before your exam, add one full-length timed set a week at your exam's own length.
