While speaking about the strategic value of Karwar, the Vice-President pointed to the ongoing development of modern naval infrastructure under Project Seabird, which is raising the Navy's capacity to base and maintain its ships and submarines and is also generating wider economic opportunities in the region.

The four pillars are identity security, location integrity, network security and time integrity. Under identity security the project develops quantum-secure physical unclonable functions and quantum-safe trusted platform modules so that device identity is anchored in hardware.

During the visit tied to the Joint Working Group meeting, the Indian delegation went to Mongolia's National Defence University and examined how the Cyber Security Training Centre, established there with Indian assistance, is functioning.
