The keel of the Indian Navy's first Next Generation Missile Vessel was laid at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi, on 18 September 2026 under a March 2023 contract.
The 16th Aero India will run from 8 to 12 February 2027 at Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bengaluru, with exhibitor registration opening on 3 September 2026.
