Uttar Pradesh Quiz

Both Uttar Pradesh exams penalise guessing, so practice under exam conditions matters. The PCS Prelims deducts one-third of a question's marks for every wrong answer, and PET deducts a quarter mark. The quizzes on this page are objective, multiple-choice sets on static GK and current affairs in English and Hindi, with the answer and a short explanation after each question. Use them in three ways. Take a short daily quiz on the day's current affairs to fix what you read. Take a topic quiz after each GK note, and reread the note if you score poorly. In the last two months, attempt full-length timed sets: PCS Paper-I has 150 questions in two hours, and PET has 100 questions in two hours, of which 30 are on Hindi passages, graphs and tables. Track your accuracy topic by topic and learn to leave a question you cannot answer.
