Which organisation is collaborating with Western Command for MTS 2.0?
- A.DRDO
- B.FICCI
- C.Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers
- D.Ordnance Factory Board
Correct answer
Explanation
The correct answer is the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers, usually written as SIDM, which is partnering Western Command both for the curtain raiser and for the seminar in December. SIDM is an industry body for defence manufacturers, which is why it fits an event meant to connect military users with the firms that would actually build or refurbish the platforms. Option A, DRDO, is the country’s defence research organisation and a plausible guess for any technology seminar, but it is not named as the collaborator here. Option B, FICCI, is a general industry chamber rather than the defence-specific body involved. Option D, the Ordnance Factory Board, is a production structure and not the partner for this seminar. The involvement of an industry association matters because the seminar aims to turn operational gaps into Problem Definition Statements that companies can design against.
