Which Asian Games bronze medallist interacted with youth at the Narmadapuram Yuva Samvad?
- A.Harshita Tomar
- B.Nethra Kumanan
- C.Eabad Ali
- D.Vishnu Saravanan
Correct answer
Explanation
The correct answer is Harshita Tomar. At the Narmadapuram sitting in Madhya Pradesh, the Asian Games bronze medallist interacted with young people alongside Member of Parliament Darshan Singh Choudhary, and the discussion turned on voting rights and informed electoral participation. The presence of sportspersons as Youth Icons is a feature of the campaign, which has drawn 51 Youth Icons so far across 50 sittings. Option B is wrong because that athlete is not named at any of the sittings described. Option C is wrong for the same reason, as no such participant appears in the list of speakers. Option D is wrong because the only athlete named in connection with these programmes is Harshita Tomar at Narmadapuram. Other speakers that day included Union Minister Durgadas Uikey at Betul and Member of Parliament Sudhir Gupta at Mandsaur, neither of whom is an athlete.
