Air Force Schools Adopt ScrollControl Child Digital Safety Plan
The Indian Air Force Educational and Cultural Society has put 42 Air Force Schools on ScrollControl, a child digital safety plan run with ISAC Foundation.

Why in News
The Ministry of Defence said that 42 Air Force Schools have been placed on ScrollControl, a child digital safety programme, and that 261 teachers stand certified as Cyber Crime Intervention Officers.
The Indian Air Force Educational and Cultural Society, working under Air Headquarters, has brought Air Force Schools from every part of the country onto ScrollControl, a child digital safety programme delivered with the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) Foundation. The rollout was timed with the observance of National Cyber Security Awareness Month.
Teachers certified as first responders
Staff drawn from 42 Air Force Schools have finished a certification course that makes them Cyber Crime Intervention Officers, and 261 teachers now hold that qualification. Their training covers online grooming and exploitation of children, the wrongful use of artificial intelligence, injuries that come out of online gaming, and money fraud. They have also been taught how to keep digital evidence intact and how to respond first when a pupil reports trouble.
Why the schools were brought in
Cheap high-speed data, smart gadgets and easy entry to social media leave pupils moving through digital spaces that were built for grown-ups and carry few controls. The Central Board of Secondary Education had already told the schools affiliated to it to build cyber safety habits by keeping Cyber Jagrookta Diwas once a month. Air Force Schools can now answer that direction with trained hands of their own rather than outside help.
What a school on the platform can do
- Open cyber clubs and give pupils a certificate in cyber safety
- Run awareness sittings for parents and for school employees
- Reach a platform that rates digital material by a child’s age for families
- Win standing as a Cyber Safe School
The support behind the badge
Beyond the course itself, the certified teachers are entered on the National Security Database. Help for victims is kept open at every hour of the day through a mixed group of cyber lawyers, cyber psychologists and forensic specialists, an arrangement the ISAC Foundation provides. The effort joins a school network run under the Ministry of Defence to the wider national drive on cyber hygiene, and gives the Air Force community a trained layer of protection inside the classroom itself.
