CTET Current Affairs Quiz: 28 October 2026

The fourth edition of the Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign is a drive of that ministry, and it was launched on 28 October 2026 by Minister of State Shri Prataprao Jadhav at ABVIMS and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi.

The toolkit's video modules are to be made available in thirteen Indian languages so that the material can reach students in different parts of the country rather than only those comfortable in English or Hindi.

The Guinness World Records certification for Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 was given under exactly this title, and it rests on the 2,87,967 project submissions that school students sent in under the Idea and Prototype tracks.

The fourth edition is a 60-day nationwide campaign, the same length the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has used for the drive each year since 2023.

The choice of venue was not incidental: international delegates who had attended the statutory meetings of the UNESCO anti-doping conventions the previous day were present, which placed the classroom initiative squarely within the wider anti-doping effort.

This is the number of project submissions recorded across the Idea Track and the Prototype Track, and it is the figure on which the Guinness World Records certification as the largest innovation solution competition rests.

The first Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign was launched that day, timed to coincide with the observance, and it laid the base for a focused national effort against tobacco use among young people.

These are the three values that the UNESCO official named at the conclave as the ones the toolkit carries into education and sport, and they are to be taught through classroom activity rather than only on the playing field.

The Buildathon was conducted by the Department of School Education and Literacy of the Union Ministry of Education along with these two partners, with the aim of pushing creative problem solving, entrepreneurship and scientific curiosity among school students.

Alongside the testing programme, the agency held more than three hundred and fifty education and awareness sessions during the year, reaching twenty-seven thousand participants, which shows that prevention through awareness is being pursued in parallel with sample collection.
